PITTSBURGH – October 25, 2018 – Gatesman, one of the fastest-growing, privately owned marketing communications agencies in the U.S., has welcomed award-winning creative mind Julie Allard as EVP, Executive Creative Director. Julie brings more than two decades of experience in the financial, consumer packaged goods, food and beverage, energy and transportation industries, and has solved some of the most complex creative challenges for many leading blue-chip brands and agencies across the U.S.

Julie’s journey to Gatesman included notable experience with firms like Ogilvy, BBDO mcgarrybowen and Publicis. Her industry expertise is equally diverse, having lent her creative leadership to accounts including American Express, Chevron, Citibank, AT&T, Unilever, Hershey’s, Kraft, Miller Lite, Kodak, DHL, HP, Huggies, Amtrak and P&G. In her new role as EVP, Executive Creative Director, she will be responsible for leading creative execution and innovation across the agency’s Pittsburgh, Chicago and Springfield, Mo. offices.

A testament to her creative edge, Julie’s work has earned her an Andy, an Athena, local, regional and national Addy’s, numerous Financial Communication Society Awards, and more. Beyond creating award-winning work, she is a strong advocate for women and diversity in advertising and has worked with the Advertising Women of New York and The One Club’s Creative Bootcamp, which promotes diversity in advertising. Julie has also served as an adjunct professor at Miami Ad School, as well as a lifelong mentor to budding creatives through various professional organizations.
