Gatesman Senior Account Executive, PR & Social Media Recognized for Creativity,  Innovation and Growing Impact in PR & Social Media  

PITTSBURGH (Oct. 21, 2025) — Gatesman proudly celebrates a major career milestone for Stephanie Rizzo, Senior Account Executive, PR & Social Media, whose talent, energy and creativity earned her the Young Alumni Award from Slippery Rock University’s Communication and Media Hall of Fame. Rizzo was honored as a 2025 Young Alumni Award recipient during this year’s ceremony, held at the university on Friday, Oct. 17.

A proud SRU alumna, Rizzo has built a reputation as a dynamic, forward-thinking communication professional. Since graduating in 2018 with a degree in integrated marketing communication, she has quickly become a standout in the local PR scene, recognized for her strategic point-of-view, consistent involvement and ability to deliver award-winning results.

At Gatesman, Rizzo has distinguished herself through her ability to bring fresh thinking that moves the needle for client goals. Most notably, she spearheaded new programming for SHOP ‘n SAVE, leading the brand’s first influencer campaign and setting a new benchmark for its digital presence. She also plays a key role in agency culture, often stepping up to capture behind-the-scenes moments at events like BFF Festival, International Women’s Day and Fast 50.

Rizzo’s leadership extends well beyond the agency. She is an active member of the Public Relations Society of America and AAF Pittsburgh/Ad 2 Pittsburgh – a community for young advertisers looking to advance in their careers, where she serves on the education board.
